BMW Aust currently have no plans to add or stock a diesel variant for 2025. BMW Aust dont appear to have apparently lodged any necessary docs regarding the importation of any X3 oilers , nor how many diesel vehicles are required. Though it is possible that it could & can still be ordered as a special dealer import . But dealers would require a specific amount of private orders to make it viable .

Its engine is a big minus and it will lose sales with this power. I live in Greece and am seriously thinking about buying this car. I saw it and I liked it. But unfortunately I haven't seen it circulated much yet. Will it sell? Among so many turbocharged cars already on the market. What luck will have such a sluggish 82hp engine? They should have put a more powerful hybrid and let it have fewer safety systems. Here in Greece, they will certainly not prefer such a slow car........

I think its much too early to be comparing this to the LandCruiser. For better or for worse, terrorists around the world have shown that the Toyota Hiluxes and LandCruisers can withstand the extremes of circustances and for decades. So it would take years if not decades to see if GWM can meausre up in terms of the reliability that is iconic to the Toyotas.

I wanted one but the comments on the owners groups have led me to believe that this is not quite up to scratch. Many owners are happy with their Ora, but there are too many electronics gremlins and GWM is not engaging owners at all, with some dealers being relatively clueless. That speaks to a poor after sales culture. Disappointing as this car was on my list. I despise MG (SAIC sucks) and BYD has a messed up warranty setup.
